The instruction involved a light industrial building with two-storey ancillary office accommodation located close to the boundary of Gatwick Airport.
Our instructions were to provide advice in respect of dilapidation matters on behalf of the tenant in the approach to the end of occupational lease.

* Advice on dilapidation law and to provide assessment of tenants obligations prior to and at expiry of lease term following evaluation of lease obligations and other supporting documents.
* Completing inspection of premises to compile detailed assessment of probably content of Landlord’s Terminal Schedule of Dilapidations.
* Providing advice on beneficial financial implications of procuring work to the premises in lieu of a financial settlement.
* Producing specification of work, inviting tenders and administering contract works.
* Liaising with Landlord and negotiating with appointed surveyor to reach successful conclusion.
