Stiles Harold Williams’ valuers are regularly called upon to provide Expert Witness Reports and appear in court to provide expert opinion on a range of property matters.
WHAT IS AN EXPERT WITNESS?
The Civil Procedure Rules Part 35, defines an Expert Witness as a person who has been instructed to give or prepare Expert Evidence for the purpose of proceedings.
The role of an Expert may be as an Advisory Expert, Shadow Expert, Lead Expert, Part 35 Expert, Single Joint Expert or as an assessor who can sit with a Judge to assist the Court.
Ultimately it is the duty of the Expert Witness to assist the Court on matters within their expertise.
